How to use

When the end time is earlier than the start time, the span is counted into the next day.
Work hours: add a start time, an end time and a break in minutes to get the hours actually worked.

Can it handle overnight shifts?

Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start time, 24 hours are added and the span runs into the next day.

What are decimal hours for?

They turn HH:MM into a decimal number of hours — 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.50 hours, ready for payroll.

How do I subtract a break?

In work-hours mode, enter the minutes you did not actually work; they are taken off the total.

Is it accurate to the minute?

Yes. Everything is computed in minutes and shown back as HH:MM.
