Switch to the restore brush and rub over the subject to bring it back into focus.
Touch up the edges with the blur brush, undo any slips, then download.

Can I keep only the subject sharp?

Yes. Blur everything first, then paint over the part you want to keep with the restore brush.

What is the difference between strength and brush size?

Strength is how heavy the blur is (in pixels); brush size is the diameter of the circle you paint with.

I rubbed away too much of the subject.

Use undo to step back through your strokes, or reset to go back to the original photo.

Does this change my original file?

No. Everything happens inside your browser and the original file is left untouched.
