FAQ
What is the monthly conversion basis?
A month averages about 4.345 weeks on a 5-day work week; the monthly figure includes paid weekly holidays. Changing working hours updates the basis too.
How accurate is the take-home estimate?
It uses 2026 rates (national pension 9.5%, health insurance 7.19%, simplified withholding). Non-taxable allowances and other deductions may shift the real number.
What is the minimum wage preset?
A button that loads the 2026 hourly minimum of KRW 10,320 so you can see the monthly and annual equivalents instantly.
Can gross and net ever match?
Yes — for very small amounts where insurance and tax are both zero. Income tax is not withheld below the monthly threshold (KRW 1.06m).
